Pours a honey golden color with tan head.
Clean faint nose of banana with hints of nothing else. Light and slight in the mouth. Really light flavors with the hops dominant near the back of the palette.
If I was at a party, opened this and drank it without thinking much, I would enjoy it. (5.5% ABV)

Pours a rusty auburn with thin white head. A little caramel, a little citrus, a little pine on the nose. Medium bodied with nice effervescence . Good malt up front with a nice cleansing hoppy finish. (6.7% ABV)

Pours a cola brown with red hints. Head is thick but short lived. Nose has sour fruit (cherries) and a blend of balsamic vinegar and Worcestershire sauce and perhaps a little Madeira wine. The mouth is light and still. This is by far one of the more unique beers that I have ever tasted. Sweet and sour without being overly tart. Clean but lingering finish. Not my favorite style but a well crafted brew. I will have to try their Grand Cru soon. (5% ABV)

Pours a brilliant burgundy red with a short lived pink head. I wish I could continue with my observations but I knocked over the bottler that knocked over he glass. What you see in the glass is all I got to try. No real chance to evaluate it. I will say I really enjoyed that one sip. If you look closely you will notice the sample sticker on the bottle. It was a gift from a friend that imports the beer. I'll have to hit him up for another bottle. Wish me luck. (5% ABV)

Pours a pale light yellow with creamy white head. Light to non-existent nose, tiny glimpses of sweet corn syrup. Light and crisp in the mouth with delicate flavors of un-roasted malt and a hint of hops in the finish. I think I like PBR better. (5.5% ABV)

Pours a light golden color with thin white head. Faint nose that has hints of sweetness. No real reason to go in depth about the flavor. It's pretty typical, thin and crisp, cleaner than many others though. This beer has a nice creaminess to it that I find more enjoyable than other Mexican lagers. Bottom line is that this is a great beer to enjoy ice cold, with south of the border cuisine. (?% ABV)

Pours a light golden orange with a thin white head. Big, dense rich nose of sweet, honey dipped oranges. Somewhat heavy in the mouth, not very active. Thick sweet malt that is a tad bit cloying. Lacking any "crispness" in both flavor and feel. Interesting try but just a little off the mark. (9% ABV)

Pours a rusty orange color with nice thick off-white head. Really attractive piny/citrus nose. Light in the mouth with mild, soft, well balanced flavors of sweet malt and citrusy/bitter hops. This is a really nice session IPA. (6.2% ABV)

Pours a redish-brown color with a short lived tan head. Nice nose of sweet malt with glimpses of coffee, vanilla and dark fruit. Mouth feel is lighter and crisper than the color would suggest. Really mild toasted malt flavors, slightly sweet but not cloying, coffee notes, a touch of caramel, dry finish but no real hop character. Not unpleasant but not a favorite. (5% ABV)

Pours a very active cloudy brown with quickly receding off white head. Very sweet candied nose (tootsie roll, brown sugar) with hints of citrus. Lighter in the mouth than what I would expect from the nose. Very complex flavors that seem somewhat disjointed. Citrus mixed with a yeasty breadiness coated in sweet malt. The finish is dry and lingering. I'm not blown away, the ribs were good though. (7.5%ABV)

Pours a light golden color with thin white head. Nose on citrus, pine, pineapple and hints of sweet malt. Fleeting citrus flavors that quickly turn to a blend of thick sweet malt and pine hops. Long lingering pleasant bitter finish. More balanced than past batches. Quite enjoyable. (8.5% ABV)

What can I say about this beer that hasn't been said before. I think this is the best large production Pale Ale period! Pours a nice rich golden color although I often drink this beer from the bottle. Nice clean nose of malt and hops, with the fruit from the hops stealing the spotlight. Great well balanced "crowd pleasing" flavors, just enough malt to counter the citrus hops. Very easy to drink. (5.6 ABV)

Pours a nice hazy gold with a responsive white head. Nice wheaty nose, hints of clove, vanilla, orange peel. Medium body in the mouth with lively effervescents. Creamy flavors of banana, vanilla cake and mild spice. This is a wonderful American version of a classic European style. (4.8% ABV)

Pours a hazy golden with thick dense off-white head. Fantastic complex aromas of clove, vanilla, orange, brown spice, very attractive. Pretty dense and creamy mouth with nice brisk carbonation. Great balance of flavors, nice wheatiness with hints of banana poking though, smooth malt sweetness in the mid with a clean mild hoppiness in the finish. Doesn't drink like the 8.2% that it is... this could be a good or bad thing. (8.2% ABV)

Pours a rich golden color with an active white head. Wonderful nose of bright citrus,pine, and strong hops, slight alcohol but more in the form of a brandy smell. Crisp citrus note, a little honey-ish malt flavor. Very crisp and lively mouth feel. This is a quality IPA. Another great DFH effort. (6% ABV)

Pours a light golden with frothy white head. Some spice and sour notes in the nose, but all in all a appealing aroma. Lively, zingy mouth... light in body though. Subtle sweetness with a spiciness that is nice, dry, mildly hopped finish. All in all a nice beverage. (7.5% ABV)

Pours a cloudy bright yellow gold with a lacking thin head. Nose of corn on the cob? Light thin mouth feel. The flavors are mild wheat, corn up front followed by a metallic bitter finish and lingering after taste. I'm not a fan. (5% ABV)

Pours a cloudy straw yellow with a thin white head.
Nice wheaty nose with hints of fresh citrus. A creaminess in the mouth that seems out of place for a wheat beer. Very mild flavors, hints of citrus, sour dough, dry bitter finish.
Drinkable but not my favorite example of this style. (5.8%ABV)

Hmmm.... I love IPA's..... haven't met many that I didn't like.
Pours a rich dark gold with thick creamy head. Intense nose, big spice right away, oily lemon zest, lime, very complex. Flavors that match the nose. big spice (I keep going to oregano in my head) , some citrus. The finish is the funky spice that I don't find appealing. Sorry, I know many hops heads to love this beer, I'm just not one of them. (7.0% ABV)

Rusty red color with decent off-white head. Thick syrupy sweet nose, a tad bit cloying in my opinion. Medium bodied feel in the mouth that is coating.
Rich and warming flavors first dense sweetness followed quickly by the full blown hops. Thirst is not a thirst quencher, it is a serious sipper
I'm not sure when this beer went into my collection....but I'm glad I found it. (8.3% ABV)

I don't like beets.
I'm not sure why Magic Hat added beet juice...anyway....
Pours a clear red-ish pink color with towering creamy white head. The nose is sweet with fruit and malt.
Light mouth feel with tingly carbonation. Some sweetness leads to uncomfortable bitterness that turns metallic on the after taste.
Did I mention I don't like beets? (4.5% ABV)
As for the image.... second night in a row playing with the ring flash attachment. This time with the 70-200. Set in driveway with rain coming down. Was looking to get strong contrast. The on camera flash look without being a snapshot.

Pours a rich clear brown color with a tan long lasting head. Great balance on the nose between the citrusy hops and the nutty malts. Light to medium in body. First up on the palate is the roasted malt flavors, joined quickly by the non-aggressive hops which linger on the tongue for a while. This is a nice representation of what the mutant, IBA should taste like. (6.8% ABV)

Pours a rust orange color with lacking white head. Some muted fruit on the nose. The feel is somewhat flat and lifeless. Nice balance between fruit and bitterness. I've had this beer before and fear that this bottle is slightly off.... I still drank it though. (8.4% ABV)
Didn't have much time for a shot tonight, hence it looks the way it does. Oh well there is always tomorrow.

Pours a nice copper color with thin white head. Some citrus in the subtle, faint nose. Interesting sweet malts paired with present but mild hops. Not as balanced as I would like. Drinkable but not my favorite PA, a bit disappointing for DFH. (5% ABV)

Very hazy straw with thick white head. Nose of yeast, banana, hint of alcohol and spice.
Light feel in the mouth with nice zippy activity. Rich creaminess with mild citrus mixed with a larger portion of spice (clove). Nice hops in the finish with a little noticeable heat to remind you of the ABV. (9% ABV)
